Frome are having a similar season to Banbury well below expectations at home but very good on opponents grounds In fact they've won 9 away games. Only 4 teams have won more away games and all 4 have played more games than Frome Frome though are having their own wobble at present and have 4 straight losses in their last 4 games With so few home games left we should be looking for maximum points but its another game where 1 point would be acceptable imo

Even though we are playing one of our bogey teams and 1 point wouldn't be a disaster, being at home IMO only 3 points would be an acceptable outcome.

Dependent on Squad details/fitness my starting 11 would be:

3-1-3-1-2

           Turner

Smart  Hollis  Nisbet

          Togwell

Dunn  Lench  Wells

          Williams

        Flood  Coles

It is a must win game at home and only 3 points will do after dropping the 2 in mid-week,  and with only 3 more home games left.

Having failed to pick up an average of less than 2 points a game at home since the start of 2018 the home advantage and games in hand has been wasted.

The away games left give us no advantage, and with the amount of travelling and frequency I can only see a limited number of points from them.

At best I can see us scraping 5th place and it will be down to Chesham or Tivy possibly taking that from us if they go on a run.

Could we see one or two big names on the bench today, massive game on Tuesday against Kings Lynn a game I feel we must not lose if we have any hope of finishing 2nd or 3rd?

Lench has been one of our best and most consistent performers in my view. Dunn has been out for a while and yes did well in his brief cameo last time around but I wouldn’t put him ahead of Lench yet. I’m sure it’s being looked at so I’m hoping we can sign one or two big game players to hopefully give us that extra bit something to get us over the line this time. Remember next season we’d need to win three PO games! I say let’s push the boat out to get up this season.

A very good second half and a good move switching Dobbo and Lench over. It seemed to bring Manny more into the game and we were able to get the passing combinations going. From the other end, though, it looked like we got away with one with a late shove in the box. Dunn was my motm and a good strike to cap it.

Superb turnaround from the horror show that was the first half. Having made lives difficult for ourselves, our second half display shows that there is still quality and urgency in the team; why can't we show this more often?

I would absolutely take a point from Tuesday now.

From our perspective it was a game of 2 halves. Wasn’t confident after the first half showing but to their credit we came out really up for it second half and deservedly won the game. Real sickener that Kings Lynn won at Hereford was hoping and expecting them to draw at best so we could make up some ground. Now makes Tuesday a very tough match as they’ll no doubt be pumped up and confident.

well according to our management team i'm to negative to write on here what i think although i pay my entrance fee which allows me to form an opinion and voice it if i so choose imho.. i;m also too negative to wear the shirt bobble hat and scarf in sloughs colours, now i'm not the sort of person who will blow smoke up peoples backsides and tell them they are doing a good job when they are not, i do not think that is positive . i learnt more about team work at a professional level than i care to mention and more than some will ever know, just to let you know i have been watching and supporting slough a long long time and will probably be doing it for a long time to come so if you don't like my supporting lump it coz i'm staying long after many of you have left.

todays game  first half we allowed ourselves to be bullied played long  high balls and then were caught out not our best showing, however second half we played a much better game kept the ball down passed and played with much more positivity, we played a style of play which we are much better suited too imo and reaped the just rewards.
