v St Neots

Likelihood is St Neots will play deep and come looking for a draw, so attacking midfielders with imagination, good passing, and the ability to get to the bye-line will probably be needed, along with strikers who can play with their back to goal who like the ball in to feet..... Dobson, Lench, Dunn, Harris, Williams and Flood for me.

Jackman and Wells as full backs, Nisbet and Hollis centre backs..... all should have enough pace and composure to negate any counter attacks.

An interesting few games today which could influence the final standings at the end of the season:

Hereford V Weymouth - will Weymouth slow Herefords charge?

Chesham V Kettering - directly effects both their playoff chances and could impact us.

Tiverton V Kings Lynn - not an easy trip for KL and Tivy could help others in the chase.

Slough V St Newts - will be a hard game and we need to be 100% focused to make sure we get the points - but nothing is certain.

I think we’ve all conceded the title is Hereford’s. So you want them to beat Weymouth to dent their ambitions. Can’t see Tiverton beating KL but a draw would be welcome news. Royston’s match postponed due to a frozen pitch and with temperatures due to get colder I think we can safely say our match on Tuesday won’t be going ahead...

Yes, Hereford, Chesham and Tivvy to win.

Careful what you wish for. The games are going to pile up for you and Chesham/Tivvy only have one or two midweeks (our only one is a B&B semi final).

We've been in your position before and unfortunately even if you get in the play offs - it will be a massive struggle, players will be knackered after playing at least once every midweek for two months

We played our best football early in the season with a fully fit squad which allowed us to rotate keeping players fresh and on their toes, hopefully now back to a fully fit squad again we can turn it around again for the run-in with the same plan.

That was cold!

Well, a blistering start and then the game became very scrappy, the officials losing control, and second half descended into a farce. Not a game where anyone really shone but they showed character to stick in there, which is what we've all been asking for the last few weeks, not get bullied and grind it out.

Not to be negative but a genuine concern, how many times in the last 10 mins of games when leading do we get caught high and opponents have a run at a one on one? From my angle, what a bizarre decision by the St Neots player to try and square it!

A deserved win though, and couldn't fault the effort.

By the way, what happened in the stand 2nd half? Looked like someone may have collapsed. If so, hope whoever it was is ok.
