everyone is racist by defination if not hatred.....look around the world...all the trouble and wars and strife is caused through either relgion or ethnic hostilities going back hundreds of years cos some fcker in the wagga wagga tribe striped up some flash bastd in the wooly wooly tribe....

 

75 people have been slaughterd and 15 villages raised to the ground because someone shagged someone else's wife 300 years ago....

 

it is all bollix really....keep the fckers out and bring back capital punishment and flogging....

Makes me laugh when people who know absolutely dick about me can spout such bollox...behind your computer screens,trying to be controversial,I wonder what you people would be like face to face say, during a lively pub debate?

I tell you something, anybody that knows me personally would call me lots of things..but NEVER a bigot,Racist or ignorant...arrogant maybe <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

And I am glad to see Mr happy's post...I am not gifted in the art of putting into words what I am trying to say, but i do believe Mr Happy sort of understands!!!

Just to add my twopenneth before yet another interesting thread dissolves into mindless drivel...

 

Two recent incidents stick in my mind:

 

1) Garry Hill gets pilloried in the press and elsewhere for calling a member of an opposing team a 'black something-or-other'.

 

2) Someone gets prosecuted and jailed for calling a Pakistani an abbreviated form of that word.

 

Does this mean that is I call an Irishman a 'mick' or 'paddy' in public I will also be prosecuted? Has the whole world gone crazy?

'mindless drivel' does of course serve to protect us against this politically correct pinko bullshite...I've been fighting against it for years to no avail which is why I and others now tend to wrap our views up in 'mindless drivel'....truth to tell...its the fckin 'state' white papers that create all this crap that come under the heading of 'mindless drivel'....

 

there is little else to do but treat political correctness with the contempt that it deserves...

 

and to answer your question directly...I am a third generation irsh descendent......I often refer to irish people as thicko paddies et al.....(even relatives).....racist...course not....paki....course not....its like calling a dog a dog and being told that cats and dogs now must be called animals or pets but not discriminated against by being called what they actually are........fck me....how long before some pinko guardianista dreams that one up......it'll happen.....

Surely the current laws prohibit the use of such terms, and there will surely be prosecutions on this basis some time in the future under those laws. Racist terms which were frequently used twenty years ago are no longer acceptable.
