I have black/asian/turkish/eastern european friends, i don't have any albanian friends as i haven't really been in a position to but i know people that are friends with them.

I had to register my residence and had to apply for a work permit, but both of these were automatically granted because of the EU agreements. Two visits to local officials is too much, but it certainly is not getting tied up in paperwork.

I went to a C of E secondary school and we didn't study Islam, Judaism, or Hinduism (or any other religion for that mater) except Christian in special lessions called R.E (Religious Education).

 

Mind you it is possible I missed it through lack of paying attention!! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

EMHdad,would you happen to be in a band called NapkinArse?

"NapkinArse are a rock covers band consisting of four guys from the Hornchurch/Rainham area of Essex. The flotsum and jetsum of bands such as "Double Trouble", "Alien Waterkiss" , "One foot in the grave" and alike. Current line up formed around november 2001 , although all been playing for some time (especially the bass player!).

Napkinarse are:- Scott "Scottie" Hannaway - Vocals, Aaron "Satchel" Eades - Lead guitar,

Tony "Brutal " Crow - Drums Pete "The Colonel" Morris - Bass guitar"

I have several Bosnian, Serb and Croat friends... not to mention a Hungarian friend I've known 25 years. Maybe you don't meet them because of your hostile attitude? Believe the right-wing press a little less and GET OUT MORE.

 

As for working in the EU, if you want to work, you can and it's very easy. VERY easy.

 

Bigots making up hysterical, lying stories a la Sun does not help race relations at all. Lighten up! If the indigenous population won't take the sh*t work, then who will? D'you fancy cleaning at dawn for less than the min. wage and getting spat at by chav scum on the [***!!***] sink estate the council's stuck you in for the privilege of not having your fingernails being pulled out at "home"?
