cup of tea
Well was it a pen? General consensus is that it wasn’t but I don’t think we played well enough to win. Little damage done with other results going our way. Just need to move on from this. Special mention to Nathan Cooper who has now risen to legend status in my eyes (anyone at the match will know why - after full fime). One game less to worry about and we move on. Keep the faith Hornchurch .
cup of tea
Also just like to praise the officials and the facilities at Sudbury, first class and I hope they grow from strength to strength (not at Hornchurch’s expense obviously!) Wivenhoe Urchin
It looked on the line to me but I was a fair way from it. Couldn't finish today but I'm sure we can get the wins we need to secure the league and promotion. Sudbury would be a nice club to go up also but they're too far away, so best of luck next season to them!

Wivenhoe Urchin
In addition, I thought our support yesterday was excellent and we must keep it up. Every game is a cup final for us too.
Miss.A.F.C.Hornchurch
Support was great and the atmosphere on the coach was a sense of put that game behind us and move on. We as fans and the team still obviously want this promotion. Felt we was unlucky. we did play some good football but just couldn't get the final ball. It happens. What I didn't like was the aftermath after the final whistle on the pitch and in the stands. Was there really any need for the Sudbury players for their actions let alone the Sudbury support, some not all, to entice Hornchurch as leaving the ground. Some of their actions majority of which was vocal was uncalled for. Being sworn at by a steward and his friend no less. Hmm, seems I can't show support for my own team as they leave the field of play. Obnoxious people. Won't be returning should we ever have to play them again!! Wivenhoe Urchin
I see it as they had their day yesterday but it's our season!
Wivenhoe Urchin
I think like most clubs in non league the stewards are actually loyal fans so it's ok for them to get involved and celebrate, but not to swear or take the Mick. Interestingly when I've been to Chelsea I've never seen a steward celebrate, they are probably more interested in their pay packet.
cup of tea
There's a line and the stewards crossed it on Saturday unfortunately. I'd not swap their position for ours They are all key games up to the point where we get over the finishing line but April looks to be a key month.Cheshunt away, you can be assured that Ming will get the players up for that one(they also have something to play for) also Canvey (H), Bowers(A) and Potters Bar (H). Get through that month relatively unscathed and I think we'll be a long way to getting there.
