5% of the net gate receipts from all replays from the 1st to 6th rounds gets paid to the ‘Association’ fund.

After the FA Cup Final this fund is then distributed equally between the 32 non league clubs that made it to the 1st round of the FA Cup.

One big all Premier League replay can put a fair sum in to the ‘Association’ fund, but I don’t recall there being any so far this season.

Have already been replays at Chelsea v Norwich (which looked pretty full) two games at Wembley (albeit was not a huge gate v Newport) Olympic Stadium for West Ham, then Swansea and a few others, so guessing the pot might not be too bad... was actually quite a few replays in round 3.

Last time Slough made the 1st round in 2012/3, there were two big replays..... Man Utd/West Ham att 70,000, and Chelsea/Man Utd att 40,000, and I doubt ticket prices were discounted for them.

We haven't seen big replays like those this season, and I would be surprised if there weren't big discounts for Chelsea/Norwich, West Ham/Scunthorpe & Tottenham/Newport & Rochdale.

So at the moment, I would think the 'Association' pool would be about half of what it was in 2012/3...... but still nice to get an end of season bonus.

So what could all this equate to in real money to Slough? Are we talking hundreds or thousands?

One big game alone could be over a thousand..... attendance of 40,000 at average ticket price of £30, could be about £1m net revenue

5% would be £50k, and 1/32nd of that about £1,500.

Ticket prices for Tottenham v Wimbledon replay were £10 & £5 concessions & top tier at Wembley was closed, so attendance 40000 give or take. I expect the Rochdale replay to be similar, so 1/32nd will be circa £500, not such a windfall unfortunately.

Every little helps.

Man City also had a very strong side out which makes it an even better result for Wigan.

Have to say if ever there was proof that clubs are paying over the odds for average players it's Kyle Walker.

He's always been prone to about three brain farts a season.

Yes, not worth £50m but Spurs well within their right to hold out for that and, even after last night, he'd still walk straight back into the Spurs team.
