bluerebel
For those travelling there re two coffee shops and pubs in the village. The ground is approx 1/2 mile on the right after you have passed through the village. There is also Toby Inn on the left just before the ground and a coffee shop called inspire on the left just after the ground. There is also another pub called the Red Lion approx 1/2 mile past the ground on the right hand side. The clubhouse has been refurbished ( although no bigger) and has three ales on tap. Parking is very limited. The nearest railway station is Apsley which is on the Euston line and is approx 3/4 mile from the ground. Should anyone want picking up from the station call me on 07902 164953 before 2.00pm or let me know on this forum. For those who went last year they will notice quite a difference to the ground and it is heavily branded for Watford Ladies now. There is also a bit more terracing. There is often a DJ playing under cover outside the clubhouse. see you all Saturday three points!! COYR

Hammer_rebel
Not one player had a bad game today! Worked really hard and enjoyable win! No idea why lenchy got booked and how they didn’t get a red today is beyond me. Perry coles had a great game too!

Rebellier
We more than matched them on a difficult bobbly pitch. Nice to see 2 great headers go in! Good travelling support. Never seen so many trains!
Reading Rebel
Good solid performance and a comfortable 3 points. Every player put in a shift today but for me the player that stood out was Lenchy with a classy performance. On his debut I also thought Perry Coles linked up well, did some tireless running and looks to be a good signing.

Mr Rebel
good solid performance and exactly the sort of performance needed on the more tricky pitches away from home absolutely dominated the first half and restricted them to next to nothing in the 2nd half after we switched to a bit more cautious/defensive shape job done 3 points in the bag and more of the same needed in quite a few similar away games yet
GlenSTFC
Wasn’t there but I got the impression with the investment from Watford, their pitch was quite high standard and wouldn’t be of the standard where we’d need to change our tactics?
