RebelVilla
Firstly, congratulations to Rochdale for their win over Millwall last night and good luck in the next round when they are at home to (presumably) Spurs. However, having just watched the highlights of their match last night I cannot believe the poor state of their pitch. There appeared to be hardly any grass at all along the last third of one side of the pitch. Whether you like artificial pitches or not, it does seem strange that the FA will not allow league clubs to have an artificial pitch whilst allowing games to be played on such poor pitches that Rochdale appear to have. It looked like a throwback to the 1970s and 1980s. Still, it will be interesting to see how Harry Kane, Deli Alli and the other 'superstars will get on playing on that pitch.
