Reading Rebel
Not really surprised with this news that Brad will be joining Enfield to get more game time. It's unfortunate that his recurring injuries have meant that game time for him has been limited and with the squad we have there were no guarantees on him playing on a regular basis. I wish him all the best for the future.
GlenSTFC
Not a surprise move for me, although his actual goalscoring record for us was decent, his injury issues meant he never got a proper run in the side. Wish him all the best at Enfield. I wonder if we’ll be in the market for another striker as although we still have 4, Manny obviously isn’t a long term option and Gav is only getting back to full match fitness. Curtis
I wish Brad all the best at Enfield..... his record with us is very impressive. 22 appearances, won 18, drew 3, lost 1. Started only 9 matches and scored 10 goals (I think he only played the full 90 minutes on a few occasions, so his average is probably very close to a goal every 90 minutes). Stan
Best of Luck to Brad . Really unlucky with injuries , I think he would have played a lot more as he gave us a real alternative. Totally understand a player wanting to get more starts.

Shredding Green
I was at Millwall v Rochdale on Saturday but having watched five times the last few minutes of the considerably more highlights of Slough Town v Merthyr Town, I still could not see clearly whether Brad Wadkins fouled the goalkeeper or the goalkeeper fouled Brad Wadkins. Whatever the real answer, some way for Brad and everyone else to remember his last match. He seemed a likeable and enthusiastic character to have around. If we sign a replacement, expert penalty taker should be one of his credentials.

Depends on what you mean by long term. Going by his work-rate I'd say Manny is up there with the fittest in the squad. It was always a near impossibility keeping 5 strikers happy. Now Gav is getting towards fitness perhaps even 4 strikers might be one too many?
Curtis
With all the fixtures we have remaining, and with several midweek fixtures, I would say we definitely need 4 fit and in form strikers if we want to maintain good results through to the end of the season, even if we do have Dobson and Lench scoring regularly. Big loss to our squad IMO. Surprised we've let him go so easy.

3spirit
No point in keeping an unhappy player. True but sometimes we pander to some players and not to others. Having wanted to see Brad play for Slough for a long time,it sticks in the craw a bit that his stint at Slough has been so short. Can't help but feel short changed. These things happen, though, so we move on. I would be on the lookout for a similar replacement, regardless of the forwards we have.

Agree RR I thought Brad had the ideal Physique to offer something different, particularly against some larger non compromising centre backs. Lets hope we can find one. GlenSTFC
Although Brad was a big lad for me he wasn’t as commanding in the air as I had hoped. But maybe injuries had their part to play. Not sure we will see a replacement unless one of the 4 strikers get injured or really lose form.
