Agree that the play offs are now beyond us .. the last 4 -5 games needed to be strong results given where those teams were in the table.

 

Will be interesting to see if more youngsters are now used.

 

And Met Police cup game takes on increased significance as our only chance of success...

Gentlemen,

 

If you look back, you'll see that I predicted we would need 80.375 points in order to get into the play-offs (i.e. 80-81). After rounding down 80 was slightly more likely than 81.

 

Now, look at the final table: both Leiston (in 5th) and Leatherhead (in 6th) got 79 points. It was only goal difference that separated them. If Enfield had got 80 points, we would have been in the play-offs.

 

So, do you still think stats are 'lies'???
