What's the story so far? Biggleswade have so far played 29 games as opposed to our 22 but have only managed 34 goals in total and have a GD of +2 We've scored 61 and have a GD of +35 On paper our superior fire power should gather the points BUT like ourselves they tend to raise their game against the better teams and have drawn at home to Kettering and Kings Lynn and will defend in depth We will need to play with more determination and purpose than we did on Tuesday but I think we will edge this game.

Usual question, does anyone know if there is a pitch inspection and what time it is likely to be? I can't quite recall what the playing surface is like at Biggleswade. Thanks. I imagine they would have trouble actually finding the pitch at St Ives on a day like today.

My memory of Biggleswade is of a good pitch with nice modern facilities. Remember beating them 5-1 there back in the Bateman era and I think Sinclair got a hat trick. Remember driving back purring about the midfield of Swift, logie, coyne and Sinclair. Thought we'd cracked it. Following week lost 1-0 at Erith to go out of the cup!

Seems like there is no pitch inspection just their Twitter page saying the game is still on?

 

Looking at the weather outside I hope they've taken into account it's supposed to rain until at least KO time.

As expected Cambridge City game at St Ives off but many others too in East and West . Stratford Hitchen only one in our div so far .

Found out it was off as we neared the A1 and turned round and went to SYBOB to try and get a game.

 

Just before kick off they too get called off as the lights on one side of the cabbage patch would not come on - totally micky mouse club.
