Winslow Boy
Fantastic result for Risboro and a final to look forward too.
Dailydose
Certainly was and probably one of their more comfortable performances in the competition. Since the result against Winslow they’ve been in good form. Even against winslow they were good, Winslow being slightly better unfortunately! Goes to show the difference between top sides in div 1 and a decent proportion of Prem sides is negligible. Risboro have been strong for good few seasons now, stability is key and hard to come by, hope they (you) go and win that cup now. I’d be interested to see one promotion place (finishing 3rd say) in Div one having a play off game against 3rd bottom Prem for promotion/relegation, would be exciting and reward success. It’s always been the same. Take the top 6 / 7 of each league including div 2 and it would be more competitive. With only 2 going up from each league a lot of the dross escape relegation each season. On the cup front, it will be a tough final, Hoddesdon or Biggleswade FC. Biggleswade are quality, saw them last season and I’ve never seen a team, at this level, play such attractive football for entire matches! One of the best teams around!
