Very sad news

When he was going on or coming off the field he always had a smile and it got broader when Bob who stands near me next to the dug-out would shout out SuperKev you have earnt your bonus today it was always said with Respect that he and us all as Supporters had in the great job and service that he was always giving to the club.

SuperKev always a Rebel and true legend.

Reading all the comments on this page and other forms of media ie Twitter, it is an indication of how highly respected Kevin was. There are so many ex players commenting on how he helped them to continue playing or extended their careers and also comments about how he would stay in touch enquiring about their wellbeing even after they left.

There are also many who were not even associated with STFC or were in different sports that Kevin cared for.

A true gentleman who always had time for others.

we should never forget the debt many owe him.

RIP Super Kev.

Condolences to Kevin's family

Big turnout today for a very special man. Moving tributes from the family before Jon and Neil spoke about Kev's footballing side.

So many old faces there. Managers McDermott, Bateman, Denton.

Club stalwarts Jamie Jackson, Steve Daly, Wilko

Ryan Spencer, Christian Metcalfe, Lee Riddell, Dean Harper, Matt Miller, Danny Murphy, Dan Burnell, Alex Brown

Martyn and Andrew Deaner there too. I did suggest to Rob Anderson that he should have a conversation with him about building a hotel and sports complex.......

I've not headed to Arbour Park but I'm sure there will be a great send off for Super Kev.
