Irishadrian
After these results Hitchin lead us by 2 points and our games in hand of them are worth 21points. Tivvy lead us by 5 points and our games in hand are worth 18 points.
Sir Rebel1965
Are games in hand are worth 0 points unless we convert them with wins and draws. You should have stated they are worth up to 21/18 points.
Irishadrian
I know that but a number of people speak as if we have to win most of the "catch up"games to be on track for automatic promotion when we can perform quite modestly At the moment we lose one draw one and win four of every six games If we can maintain that then we will be right back up there And of course there are a number of " six pointers" in the mix

We would need to average 2.44 points per game to beat Hereford which is more like 7 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss out of every 9. That said I don't think everybody will keep scoring points at quite the same rate. I think it's going to be tight but we should be in the hunt. Sir Rebel1965
The first of the big games is on 6th Jan against Hereford - that will dictate alot of the requirements of both teams for the rest of the season.
Irishadrian
SirRebel Spot on At the moment Hereford are the only club who have lost fewer league points than us in the season so far and then by only 1 point A Rebels win on the 6th will emphasize how strong our challenge is. Sir Rebel1965
To be honest we need to treat the next 27 leauge games as big games if we are serious about winning the leauge, and if not the title, then that we can play all our playoff games at Arbour Park. It is now about building that winning mommentum again now we can focus on league games.
