I'm confident we'll take something from this game The poorest performing Chesham team for some seasons have dropped points from 7 of their 12 home games and are 20th in the most recent home form charts I don't believe in "bogey" teams just teams who were better on the day On 1st Jan I think we'll be the better side as we push for promotion

Irishadrian, 'poorest performing Chesham team for some seasons' and all those points dropped at home and your not predicting a win?

I saw Chesham against Banbury early in the season and they were a poor side, who looked disjointed and were supplementing the team with players not of the necessary quality.

However in the last couple of months they have now sorted the wheat from the chaff and have regrouped and

now look organised and have picked up some good results,so I'm expecting a hard game against them.

In their ranks, they have some useful players, so Slough won't be getting it all their own way.

On paper, Slough look the superior team but being an away derby match nothing should be taken for granted.

3 Spirit I agree with much of what you say They certainly are a bit better than they were but their recent home games certainly suggest that we have an edge if we play well In recent weeks they've fail to score at home against Farnborough's defence and been beaten 1-3 by Stratford I will be disappointed with less than 3 points

Of course, I want 3 points too, Irishadrian, though to me, a draw wouldn't be a bad result.

Losing doesn't bear thinking about ! ha ha ha !

Have to admit when I saw his name, I’ve only heard of him at Windsor and was thinking is this the sort of player who’ll improve us. Well I’ve done some research and watched some videos and have to say he’s look very good and having been top scorer in New Zealand’s top division (which after looking at a few videos I’d say it’s League 1/2 standard) given the right service he could be a real asset to us. Obviously without putting too much pressure on the lad, I look forward to seeing him play a big part on Monday.

I would be very surprised if the standard was that high...... I think it’s a mix professional & semi-professional players so probably more Conference Premier standard.

That still makes Ben Harris potentially an excellent signing, and we are creating a lot of goal scoring opportunities for our strikers.

No club would risk playing someone without proper clearance and the following quote suggests they did it.

“Harris, who is set to link up again with former Windsor teammate Rob Lazarczuk, has been playing in New Zealand and this week Ascot are awaiting to receive his international clearance.”
