djwilf
Leyton Orient sacked their manager and radio talk of a certain Darren Purse being a potential replacement with experience at the club. Thoughts?

Raingod
I would not want to lose Darren from the defence - it is noticeable when he is absent from the team, and probably has another season of playing in him. Plus from his view I would say it has come too early - better to learn the ropes a bit more with us first.
djwilf
I agree the conference is VERY competitive and his experience with us shows at this level. I'm hoping it was just chatter and nothing more.
The Crowing Cockerel
Looking at where Orient are in the National League right now, I wouldn't be too keen to take the job if I were Darren. There would be a very real risk that he could take them down, and any managerial career ambitions he has might be irreparably harmed by that.
