FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying Round - Hendon v Slough Town

We played twice at Hendon last year in a pre season tournament (though not actually playing Hendon themselves).

Not the greatest places in the world with limited parking. They have a 3G pitch but last time we went there it was in pretty poor shape and had not been looked after properly.

See it as similar to the Dorking tie in terms of quality - except that we're away. No reason not to believe in ourselves though.

Have very fond memories of some great cup ties against Hendon over the years - one that went to 2 replays with Terry Brown scoring the eventual winner.

Blimey , that really would clog our fixture list up !

Looking forward to renewing rivalries - don't think we've met competitively since the league restructure in 2004. Got the potential to be a cracking cup tie.

There's been some improvements to SJP since you came for the pre-season tournament, and the pitch has been playing well this season so far.

We had a few seasons in the Ryman Premier after the restructure

From our club web-site opposition database we have played them in 59 competitive matches dating back to 1951.

The overall head to head to W20 D17 L22 GF78 GA79.

In the last six meetings during 2005, 6 & 7 Hendon have won 4 and drawn 2.

It’s about time we notched up a win against them.
