Fancy charging £2.50 for kids to watch ESL football.

 

What do other clubs charge for under 16's to get in ?

Students pay £5 to watch Sheff Wednesday (yeah i know I wouldn't pay it either!)

Officially we charge £3, goes back to our Ryman days. However we do offer all under 16's free season tickets, and our match posters that have recently gone out state free as well.

I have argued every time (twice)I have entered Romford's ground. The people at the gate will not let you through without paying the £3. I will not take a child to their groung again despite your comments that appear it is fee. I am outraged by the abuse I get because I questioned the fee to gain admission for a four year old. Take note that it i not free.

It is Rip-Off Romford; Ilford was acceptable I thought.

You could go on to discuss the programme charges. I remember one this season being £1.50 for little more than 4 or 5 bits of A4 paper with club adverts and little else. I read mine and then sold it on to one of our supporters who collect these things. I don't mind paying that much for ours as it represents good value for money. Otherwise, I'll just buy one if I don't feel like I'm being ripped off.

I actually believe that ETFC's programme is the without doubt the best there has ever been in the ESL.Very informative and excellent quality.

In Romford's defence I can only think that £3 for an under 16 was charged for a home cup match.

 

With visiting sides qualifiying for 50% of the gate money I believe the rules state that free entrance is not allowable for cup matches.

 

Otherwise our posters state quite clearly that under 16s are free for all home league matches.

 

P.S. The Romford programme at £1.20 is good value for money. Full of detail.
