Been watching in on the 'ticketing' debate with interest. Seeing that tickets going on sale at the Hendon game tomorrow, I can see anyone who wants to go, simply need to turn up to 'a' game. If you missed the Weymouth game, you get a second chance, right?

 

Going back to when Slough used to regularly get into the first round (Cardiff, Plymouth, Reading) and even the big league games v Wycombe, they were the days before internet, so people had to get off their back sides and go to the ground to get a ticket. 

 

Of course, you are going to get fans wanting to go who havent gone in a while, it has always been the case, in the past, present and will be the same in the future. Why do so many people act like this is a new thing.

 

Going back to the late 80s / early 90s cup runs, we averaged about 2k for those 'big' games, but yet (please correct me if I am wrong) Wexham Park had a 3k capacity?

 

Hopefully, all the 'regualrs' and 'big game followers' will get a ticket with no one missing out, just like in the past.

Given there's going to be a lot of people there, you might want to lower the expectations of being able to get to the bar (just my thoughts).

 

Rochdale have around 80 tickets left and will be selling them until 4 on Friday.

The quickest way to get a drink will be have one or two in the Weatherspoons then walk to the game. Far quicker than queuing in the bar .

(Sorry that was advice to Rochdale fans .... and I meant the Weatherspoons in Rochdale)
