I think it's a fair way of doing it as it's a guaranteed way to ensure rebels supporters get tickets and you can't easily find out who has been to previous games.

We have three season tickets so will buy ours tomorrow, if anyone needs to have a ticket and can't get to the game tomorrow I'm happy to buy some extra ones if needed up my limit of six for any regular supporter.

I don't know most people to link them from Thier names on the forum but I'm related to Clive and William who know everyone at

our games ?

Well, to be honest Curtis, I wasn't only thinking of me.

I was thinking about those who will miss out due to the fact they can't make the Weymouth game.

Take for example, my brother he wanted a ticket but I cannot purchase one for him, or take my friend who is a fairly regular Slough fan but he has a ticket for West Brom v Chelsea tomorrow.

3spirit, if you need another ticket for your brother or your friend I could get a second ticket to use up my allocation?

Hi Gashimoto, I've PM'd you, possibly twice due to my phone messing around with my accounts, can't make Weymouth, but need a ticket for Rochdale. Cheers from Matlock.

Unfortunately for you I’m not going to trust your word Rebel1965 especially as you can’t even spell!!! If someone in an official capacity can confirm we have 350 ST holders then I’ll believe it. Anyway I’m guessed our chairman has already hand delivered your golden ticket being as your the number 1 fan right?

Wrong again - the chairman had Robert Mugabe deliver the platinum ticket by hand (he has nothing better to do now) and has arranged a helicopter transfer landing on the pitch (not one from West Wycombe airfield – theirs is “broken”), with red carpet to the presidential box, and caviar and champagne on arrival. It is just not me who gets this service, but all 349 other season ticket holders, that is why it is worth getting a season ticket!

I know that 350 season tickets is about the right figure, give or take a few.

I'd like to book my season ticket for next year early please.

Please ensure that all red carpets are swept!

ARAAS, I said it is natural for the club to favour season ticket holders.

I have followed and supported the club for over thirty years now but I have only been a season ticket holder for one season and that was last season.

I have no qualms that the season ticket holders are priority.

I have always managed to get a ticket for every big Cup game since 1985,both at Wexham Park and at the groundshares, yet now I [ and many other loyal fans] have a chance of missing out because of a badly thought out way of allocation.

It's never easy to get these things right but this time around it seems rather ludicrous how we are doing it, in my opinion.

How would you arrange it then Stuart, knowing you have tickets for season ticket holders, players officials and sponsors, and tickets for Rochdale to sort first.... leaving you with not so many tickets to distribute fairly.....

If you think it is straightforward to organise, I can assure you it is not, people have been working their backsides off to make sure this runs as smooth as it can, and I can confirm lots of different options have been discussed, however it is Impossible to differentiate from you (who I know is a true supporter and comes to most home games and some away games and am sure will get a ticket)to Joe Bloggs who I don’t know but yet does very similar to you, but might be less vocal on social media platforms, to matey boy down the road who has seen we have had a great Fa Cup run and wants to jump on the bandwagon as is always the case in the FA Cup (who might however become a fan of the clublonger term)

There have been no voucher systems in place where for example if you had 3 vouchers from games you had priority after season ticket holders, as we didn’t know this would happen, and this has been our first home game since we beat Gainsborough (maybe something to think about in future years just in case it happens again, however hindsight is a wonderful thing)

This is what happens at the vast majority of clubs when it comes to big games, where season ticket holders are looked after, and rightly so... you have to also remember that not only are the players part time, but the people who run the club are part time also.

All I can say is I have seen how hard the likes of Steve Easterbrook, John Porter, Kay Lathey, Mike Lightfoot etc have worked on this already, and they should be commended.

The trouble with the season ticket holder rule is that some season ticket holders may have only attended this seaon and could be bandwagon jumpers.

While I accept the season ticket holder being favoured by the club, I don't agree why they can get two tickets and those other loyal Slough fans, who aren't season ticket holders can only get one, as they are already getting priority.

To be honest,Neil, you know I like to play devil's advocate sometimes and often I put across issues often that isn't solely about me but representing Slough fans as a whole. This point being one such subject.

To answer your question how I would have handlled this situation [which is irrelevant as I don't work for the club] I would have put the tickets on sale from noon today for everyone, with the proviso that you can only have two tickets maximum. I would have kept the season ticket holders two tickets for them to pick up after the game as they would be easier to issue. And those season ticket holders not attending the game can get them at a later date.

Any tickets not sold at the Weymouth game, I would have put on the first come first served basis either at another home game or when it is convenient for a paid club official/employee to issue them in the week.

Maximum 4 per person until sold out.

As Glen STFC has just said, anyone with an 'ounce of salt' recognises how hard it is to get it right with these ticket allocations, and how hard the people behind the scenes have to work with such a logistical nightmare.

I'm not a fool I appreciate all the effort,too.

My comments were just that we seemed to be overcomplicating things to how we did it against Mansfield . Hopefully today, though.that fretting will subside when it all runs like clockwork, ha ha !

Glen raises a good question about the cost of following the club.

Did some numbers on it and only for all the league games, for somone traveling in their own car, without food or drink the commitment is substantial:

Season ticket full price £180 Away entry @ £11 for 23 games £253 Travel away 3586 mile @ 40p/mile for all 23 games £1,434 Travel for all home games @ 10 miles per game @ 40p/mile £92 Total £1,959

Supporters coach averages at say £30 for each away game so would be £690, but if you are not close to the pick up point it will not work.

Add to this cup games!

Can understand why people have to select which games to attened.

Quick question.

Did not know about this as have not been online.

Can not get there today.

Live 50 miles away so can’t run into randomly to get ticket?

What should I do?

Have asked a friend to pick two up using my number so hope this is ok.
