2-0 or 10-0,A WIN IS A WIN

Thought it might be prudent at this stage in the season to remind us all that we are 4th in the league, got to the 2nd round of the FA Cup,are through to the 4th rounds of the FA trophy and

the Bryco...if anyone had suggested this last season we would have pointed him in the direction of the funny farm !

The lack of goals is a worry but rather than dwell on the missed chances yesterday I think

much more relevant is the fact that we created more chances in a game than I can previously remember.

I would be far more concerned if we won 2 nil and had two chances. After all a win is a win.

Lloyd Opera,in my books, had an excellent game.He worked hard, created a number of chances and scored a goal.True he missed a couple too but he is very active around the box..the goals are sure to follow.

Adam Locke had a superb game. All credit to him.

He had to win over a large section of supporters,me included, who thought that he was not the answer but throughout the season he has

performed consistently well.

well said sarah....yes...it is all going to plan and we have now established our credentials of being a worthy premiership team....

it will be interesting to see what this season brings in terms of rewards as we continue to chase canvey and the big prize or perhaps more realistically a place in the new conference alliance south which we have been accepted for......who knows...we are still in two cups as well....

however....we didn't give up on northwood last year and look what happened on the last day of the season...

but the future is upon us....soon...probably this summer...we have to make the decision on what we do with the stadium...will we be able to redevelop the existing site or will we move to a new site...(we have purchased options on two sites...one inside the boro and one just outside...the havering site is actually just in upminster)...so....we'll see and gary calder will be very busy this summer sorting all that out...

one thing for certain...neither the local council nor the local minority residents associations...(and there will be another one if we apply to build a brand new stadium)...will stop the progress of our football club...

great difficulties and great successes lie ahead of us....the battle to build the fan base continues apace...they paying customer will choose his or her entertainment....we have to ensure value for money....

I notice our west ham contingent still drift back to upton park at times....not complaining..those families have probably been hammers for generations..... but its our job to ensure that we offer them a better day out at better value than west ham can...the same applies to the daggers...

we have to continue to build the squad and continue winning...because ultimately thats what we all want...we just want to win and feel good as that first after match drink goes down the old hatch....

yes urchins...we've come a long way but there is still a long journey ahead of us....lets enjoy and treasure every second of it as we continue along that road....its a unique experience...

well done....see you saturday....

rest easy global...they all want us to protect the site but they also want to tell us what we should or shouldn't do with OUR football club and OUR money...fck 'em...who cares...

urchins on the march...they won't stop us.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

and this the year of political correctness.... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

For Cliff's sake I don't know why we do!
They threw it away again yesterday, just like against Ipswich & West Brom.

I've brought a few West Ham ST holders to see HFC this season and once they get over the "culture shock" that is NLF, they really enjoy it...and some have come back and others have voiced an interest in coming back to see the Urchins.

Just to qualify "culture shock":
For one thing, there is not the noise level of the crowds that one gets at "top flight" [WHUFC???] games. My Dad & I joked in the bar afterwards [thanks for having Guinness, by the way] that Max should pipe over the tannoy simulated crowd noise like they do on Talk Sport!!! It's ok, it was a joke!

As for value for money, I can't criticise this club. I only wish matches lasted longer than 90 minutes...or you get to watch the Capital League side before/after the main match. The football is THAT GOOD over here!

Question: Is it correct that the FA have [past or present] enforced a minimum admission price rule in which Conference clubs are not allowed to go below?
Will there be a similar ruling on Conference South clubs next season? And does anyone know what it might be if they do? Surely this impinges upon "free trade" and "market enterprise"?

I'm a West Ham season ticket holder too. What a load of rubbish eh?

Coming over Hornchurch has made me realise what a ripoff West Ham is compared to the value for money over here. They really care about the fans over which is great and such a breath of fresh air.

Top class!

I would just like to say i've been a West Ham ST holder for a few years now and i'm starting to drift towards ditching it next year and concentrating on the Urchins. Don't get me wrong I'm West Ham through and through, but I just enjoy it more over Hornchurch. The place has a real buzz about it and theres no big time charlies mugging you off week in week out.
