Slough 2-1 Walsall - a trip down Memory Lane

To whet everyone's appetite for Saturday's trip to Gainsborough, we've been working with FCVideo who have produced a clip of the goals from our win over Walsall in 2004 - the last time we won an FA Cup First Round match. Look out for further memories from this game later in the week!

There's fairly grainy footage on youtube of our last ditch 3-3 with Reading, but alas nothing from the famous 1-0 over Millwall in 1982.

Dunno but I remember they showed the 1-4 v B.Stortford from the 2nd round on MOTD at the time. That result still makes me sad!

Still pains me to this day Roger Connell getting that late winner, and he was a Rebel legend

Route 104 even worse when you see it again that it was the ledge Terry Reardon kicking the 1st shot of the line straight into the path of Roger it so late in the game to do anything we got one cross into the box, and that was it.

I can remember just turning round and walking out of Wembley with Dad very disappointed.

RR Dave Bassett a no nonsense tough player who took the art with him to Wimbldon and then Vinny Jones was produced.

Was at Wembly when Brenner and Keegan were sent off in the Charity Shield.

I see in the Non League Paper our old foes from the Amateur Cùp days Skelmersdale have been locked out of their stadium and it was also broken into last week.

Hope they find away out of there troubles.

Skelmersdale failed to negotiate a new lease on their ground and were due to leave in November and have a ground share agreement with Prescot Cables They seem surprised by the visit of the bailiffs and have promised an update asap.
