Good morning Rebels, as you know myself and John Porter went up to Gainsborough yesterday to see what we will be up against, and if we didn’t already know we are in for a very tough game, against a very together side who are now unbeaten in 7 games, having won 5 and drawn 2.

From all the locals it sounds as if it is going to be a very big crowd on Saturday, and they have already pre sold over 500tickets for a game that is not even all ticket.

The BT Sports and Match of the Day cameras will be in attendance also.

For those of you who are on the fence about going, I urge you to get yourselves up there and support the lads.

It is a huge game, and seeing the Rebels all congregated together in big numbers would be brilliant for the lads, and it is a proper old school ground which I am sure you will love.

We will be playing in amber and blue (as they play in Blue) so those with the colours let’s make sure that we get seen.

Whether you are driving up yourselves, getting on the supporters trust coaches, or going up by train, it will be great to have your support, and if we can make noise like we have never done so before, that would be class.

Who knows where it will take us, but we have had 20 competitive games this season and won 17,and since the start of pre season have scored 80 goals, so why not??? COYR

Actually we think we might be entitled to that figure mentioned, as the teams on Sunday get 12,500 so that would help if that is the case.

We have to provide interviews whilst the game is going on Saturday, and various interviews before and after, and the coverage will be similar to what the BBC do on the Sunday, but on the Saturday and on BT Sport.

Yes it seems it's £12,500 for the Sunday coverage and, according to the Commercial Regulations covering the First Round to Quarter-Finals, it's £6,750 for Saturday highlights, though the way I read it was that clubs would get that if extended highlights from Saturday games are shown overseas!

Sounds like a fantastic deal, and will be a great away day for all those taking up the offer.

I am pleased that you had a good trip to Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday.  Everyone is looking forward to the FA Cup game next weekend.  The crowd could be around 1500.

If you are driving to the match, then I suggest taking the A1 rather than the M1 and M18, as is on the Slough Town FC website.  I suggest turning off the A1 at Newark and take the A46 towards Lincoln, then take the A1133 to Collingham - this links into the A156 to Gainsborough.  This route is much quicker.

There are lots of places to eat and drink in the town centre and Marshalls Yard, if you arrive early.  Parking around the ground shouldn't be a problem, but follow any parking restrictions that you see, as the traffic wardens are very keen.

Have a safe trip and see you on Saturday!
