staines_rebel_Jr
According to Pep Guardiola (supposed best manager in the world) his team were forced to play their league cup match with the wrong ball. He claims it was "impossible" to score with the Mitre ball they were provided. "It's not Nike, Adidas I don't know, it's a different brand. It's unacceptable to play with the ball." Guardiola. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41751058 The five other matches using the same ball managed to provide 18 goals, with only one of the ten teams failing to score. What a prat he has made himself look. it is about time people realised he is not the best manager in the world.
Swifty
What a load of balls!
Longshot
There are dozens of goals scored every week in the Football League using that brand of ball. He must prefer the gold plated ones with diamond edging for his overpaid superstars.
Stan
To be fair to the overpaid pampered snowflake woosies , I've heard quite a few complaints about the quality of those balls. Still, a bad time to complain about them, looks a bit self -serving . Give them the orange lace-ups for the next round !
HorshamRebel
Signs of a good manager. He's completely deflected the press and public away from his team and making them discuss/argue about some insane thing instead.
staines_rebel_Jr
Turns out Guardiola might have been right about the EFL cup as the draw for the quarter finals turned into an absolute farce. They wanted to live stream it on twitter but ran into "technical difficulties" resulting in a 2 hour delay before releasing a pre recorded video rather than the promised live stream. When the video did come out, the set they were on along with the pot full of balls were the cheapest and worst they could have possibly have had, along with the presenters apparently not knowing how microphones worked. To cap it off the conspiracy theorists had a field day as Man Utd were of course handed the "easiest" draw against the lowest ranked team left in the competition. What little credibility the EFL cup had left has disappeared all together now.
