Slough v Gosport

Could have been any score we knocked up tonight. Two bar hits, countless blocks on the line and even room to take our foot off the gas for some spells. A case of a bit too easy, not that I'm complaining! Their goal weren't bad though.

Manny, superb again. Nice finishing from Wadkins. Togs didn't misplace one pass all night. Thought Webb was playing well until being taken off. Wellsinho very good again.

Expected at least five and that's what we got. Got to say though that the Gosport players were a credit, no dissent, diving or time wasting or even any nasty niggly fouls all night. Considering their predicament they performed well.

Yes, a very good point. And their fans were in good voice throughout too.

This isn't aimed at anyone in particular.

It pisses me off when people come on here or any other social media and start complaining about the lack of noise or atmosphere when 9/10 they never contribute anything themselves. Never start a chant or get involved in one.

There are fewer and fewer people actually joining in and even less starting them. As one of the few people who do start chants along with Radders, Marcus and ARAAS I do wonder sometimes why the f*ck we even bother!

SRJ it is appreciated by the vast majority who do like a bit of atmosphere at games. There were plenty of kids joining in during the first half who clearly enjoyed the 'contest' with the Gosport fans. Singing seems to go in phases and depends heavily on what's going in the pitch /rival support/club position. Last night Gosport were singing to keep themselves amused ,we sang because they did.

Had precious little effect on the game . There will be crucial time ,probably very soon , where support from the terraces will have a big impact on a game. Keep it up .

Yes Will, don't give up Aidan enjoys the singing, and pretty sure Neil,Jon and the players appreciate it x

Don't know why but think we are always better when we are away.

Shall we do poppers at the Gainsborough game like the old days ??? X

Sue, it's a known fact that most away support are more noisier than the home support. It's probably a bit of 'we are away from home and we can make more noise than you lot who are supposed to be at home' That's my theory anyway.
