Another draw - 4th in 6 games! We've gone from losing every week to drawing every week, hopefully soon we'll start winning every week <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> Thought we lacked a little quality up front today - if Justin is to have money made available to bring in new players I would have thought a new striker or 2 might be top of his shopping list! No questioning the effort of commitment today - as evidenced by the way the lads were literally throwing their bodies in the way of that goal-mouth scramble where Bedford must have had a good 6 or 7 shots at goal!

Yeah, I can't believe that scramble off the line! We missed Danny Hockton up front, thats for sure, but full credit to Jordan Tolan, he played his heart out.

To be honest, we didn't play that well, alot of the time, we just hoofed it in the air and it was always a Bedford head who got to it!

I think Pat Sappleton was our best player, gave it 110%, well done.

i thought the first half was pretty even but bedford largely dominated the second half and to come away with a point in a game in which we were second best was a decent result.

we were missing henty, hockton, and graham and with okita seemingly departed our squad was very stretched although i still think we should be able to get five on the bench even if they are reserve players.

luke weaver won us this point today with some outstanding saves and i thought pat sappleton did his best to organise a rather creaky defence.

i thought the midfield quartet especially jamie dormer enjoyed decent first halves but seemed to fade under the bedford onslaught in the second.

i actually disagree with keon. i dont think jordan showed his best today and has certainly been better in his short bursts off the bench whilst for me andy jones was once again completely ineffective.

looks like we may see the the return of an experienced striker to partner danny next week at hornchurch and im looking forward to that and the other thing worth noting is that after the hornchurch game (with the exception of our visit to canvey) the fixture list starts to look a lot more appealing.

Thought we looked second best yesterday how we escaped I dont know. I felt as usual without Danny Hockton we looked as though we lacked an awful lot up front in terms of movement and quality. Jordan Tolan I felt had a poor game compared to what I had seen of him when hes come off the bench and looked very sharp I also felt he faded away during the game so maybe its fitness and he will get better. I thought defensively lacking Graham I assume he has gone back to Northampton that we might have problems today but I felt that Reeders and Stapleton had their best games for a while and Weaver outstanding between the sticks. So any chance of telling us who the experienced striker could be Jl

Bedford Town fan here, just want to say good luck for the rest of the season, I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT GOAL MOUTH SCRAMBLE! Best bit of the game for me...I'm not sure about your financial situation but you would do well to hang on to that No.4 of yours(Sappleton?) I thought he was the best player on the pitch from both teams...on loan from a league club maybe? Make sure you beat Aylesbury this season....

I thought it was a game between 2 evenly matched teams, Bedford had the better chances and probably will consider themselves unlucky. Did we hit the target? I can't even remember there keeper diving.

I think people are being a bit harsh on Jordan Tolan, I thought the poor guy ran himself into the ground, one stage late in the 2nd half he ran the length of the pitch to help defend only to have to sprint all the way back up the other end of the pitch for a quick break away. I wish he had started against Canvey and Aylesbury instead of Okita who parked himself outside the penalty area and didn't seem to want to move.
