Dog poo game - unplayable wind and a terrible pitch.

 

Will take the point without question.

 

Could not tell who were the better team as the conditions did not allow a contest.

 

Could not understand why the young lad with specs and high vis jacket wanted to slow the game down by not returning the ball with any haste - maybe he was going as fast as his brain allowed - proves that a diet of only reject wheetabix is not the way to go.

Good point but one of the worst games I've ever seen because of the conditions. 

 

I think the managers deserve credit for how they set us up today. In stationing Nis in front of the back four it made it difficult for them to get the ball to Rene Howe who caused us all kinds of grief in the home game. That left Hollis to do a terrific job on the dangerous O'Connor. At least I think that was the plan. COYR!

I too could not understand why that person would not return the ball as quick as he could also noticed at one point their bench being a bit odd by kicking the ball around themselves and not putting it back in play.

Anyway, difficult conditions and game but another point.

 

 

Perhaps their management were happy with a point?

That's the first match I've been to for a while where the first half was mainly played around one corner flag section of the pitch, due to that strong diagonal wind.

 

At one point Jack took a goal kick, aiming at the far right side and the wind still took it out for a throw in on the left.
