There was only one important point yesterday and that was we won.

Picking holes in the managers interviews is not constructive.

Yes we can all have our say on this forum, but some people - especially you, just dont know when to shut up.

See MOTD just now as to why you keep the ball in the corner. Cost West Ham two points

Ha ha was literally about to bring up the same thread... unprofessional and naive are some of the words words used.... as some have said not necessarily great to watch, but it’s all about protecting a win, and th Palace goal is a perfect example of this.

The only thing, though, West Ham are full time ptofessionals, who were playing away [ although it was only Palace! ] and should know better, when they are playing out two minutes of added on time at the end of the game.

The point I raised about Slough's timewasting in the corner was that we started to do it with about ten minutes of normal time to play, which for me was excessive, taking into account that Folkstone had hardly threatened our goal, and that we have such fantastic attacking players, that a second goal to us to kill them off looked a better bet.

However Neil, given yours and Under's record in FA Cup runs I can understand why you opted to see the game out the way you did.

For me that fact probably led to the panic to see the game out in this way.

Anyway, another good win today in another cup competition which bodes well for next Saturday and beyond. Crossing my fingers.
