I have to say, Aylesbury are one of the worst teams I've ever seen. Well done Hornchurch. When's the draw for the next round?

Don't forget that was our Reserve Team, who are playing for 30-40 times less than your weekly budget, becuase our first team are on strike. We are pretty proud of their efforts.

Yeah - to be fair great support for their team - their goalie did really well -

Much better when we were taking throw - ins in the attacking third - kept the ball - Locke was very positive in the middle - Keeling was like mercury along the line.

Both teams hit the post - we created a load of chances & missed bundles - but on another day - next Saturday - we could score a shedload...

Who have we got next Saturday?

;-)

That's a fair version of the game, global.

First half, we should have been 4-0 up, but their goalie was outstanding.

2nd half, we didn't push them nearly enough, but then they smothered the midfield with their substitutions.

Wouldn't have said they were the worst team I've seen us play this season.

Still, we won again. Lloyd's goal was very well taken.

I felt we played really well very few missed passes and as usual a top display we could have won my more but i will take a 2-0 win in every round !

Adam Locke was my man of the match showed his strengths and played the part of playmaker to perfection, i also thought Mark Graham was up to his usual high standard.

I thought Lloyd was great he missed chances but never sulked got on with it and tried tried again (scored the hardest chance he had, as maladroit said it was "very well taken").

I think we miss Vinny upfront his work rate would complement Lloyd so well. Vinny is well up to playing makeshift centre-back.

Canvey are an exceptional side whose name is already being etched on the league title but that doesn't mean it's their Trophy aswell.

Yesterdays game..Great banter with the Aylesbury fans..still kept singing even when 2-0 down.

For me, Danny Kerrigan was outstanding at the back and Mark Graham also stood out.

Have to also mention young Kevin Stephens who looked solid and totally unphased.

Glad to see Lloyd score (although i missed it as I was still coming out from the bar!!)

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with a crowd of 500 plus..even with the Hammers at home.

P.S

What on earth was their number 8 doing?..Is he Billy Elliot all grown up???
