In money terms I don't disagree with you.... in realistic chances of making it to Wembley terms, the FA Trophy every time.

A few years back, when we were a level lower, we lost to a club on penalties that were promoted to the Football League in the same season.... that's the best quality you can meet in the FA Trophy.

Odds on making it to an FA Cup Wembley final? Probably a million to 1 or greater. Odds on making it to an FA Trophy final at present, probably 500/1 or 1,000/1, but a promotion in the next few seasons could possibly cut those odds considerably.

this season it is easier than ever to get to Wembley in the FA Cup. Easier than in the Trophy too.

for me getting to Wembley means less and less each year as it becomes les and less prestigious. Not only do they play more and more matches their every year but the national team couldn't give a sh*t and put in atrocious performances degrading the stadium more each time. Personally I would much rather go to Old Trafford or Anfield in the FA Cup than Wembley in the FA Trophy final.
