townendleftside
Love that draw, easy train journey, smart modern stadium and a couple of good pubs within a 10 minute walk.. let's travel in numbers !

The Crowing Cockerel
Not a great draw.Would have liked a smaller team at home. Agreed. Having watched some of their pre-season highlights (keeping an eye when Tyler Campbell was on trial with them), this is about as tough a draw as we could've got. Guess we'll just have to sort'em out on their little plastic pitch then! Do we get a share of the gate receipts?
lovely stuff
I think both clubs get an equal share of gate receipts in the FA cup.

lovely stuff
Who decides expenses costs for the home team? The FA hopefully.
The Crowing Cockerel
I read that Maidstone segregate fans now.
big guy
The Football Association’s rules stipulate that gate receipts are split 45% to each side, with 10% going to the governing body. If there is a replay, gates are split 42.5% each with 15% going to the FA. If a Premier League team sold 50,000 seats at £30 or more each that would generate a minimum of £1.5 million. So an away tie to a big Premier League club could mean a windfall of at least £675,000 from gate receipts alone.

So whatever the result, we're due a few quid from our visit to Maidstone then? ...and even more when we visit Spurs at Wembley in the 3rd Round! The Crowing Cockerel
just see this on Maidstone forum is it true ???? Tyler Campbell I think is playing for Enfield! Sure he will be out to impress Someone mentioned this on the Maidstone forum because he was a trialist with Maidstone during pre-season. It was swiftly pointed out that he was now actually at Braintree.
Maidstoner
Just wanted to let you all know that the gates open at 12:30 here on Saturday. You are segregated but you have your own bar under the away stand which will be showing Sky Sports. There is a happy hour from 12:30 to 1.30 where it's £1.50 per pint. See you Saturday
