agamemnon3
An excellent game at Brickfield Lane, where, despite taking a first-minute lead, Hadley went down 3-1 to an impressive Tower Hamlets side. And now, on to Edgware...
agamemnon3
Edgware Town 10 Harefield United 2 Despite the scoreline, this was a dull evening, with Edgware cruising to victory over an abject Harefield, who, with one or two honourable exceptions, showed neither the fitness, nor the concentration, nor the basic skills necessary to compete at this level. Edgware didn't even play particularly well, and for every goal they scored, they probably missed three more. Both of Harefield's goals game from errors by the Edgware keeper, whose poor handling and eccentric decision-making may prove costly when they come up against a team who can actually play. Edgware beat Cockfosters 5-3 in the previous round, so that's twenty goals in their two ties so far --- value for money, or what ?
buck rogers
Kicking off at 7pm players struggling to get to the early ko and having to play the reserve keeper on pitch due to injuries wouldn't have helped. so a bit strong with those comments ... Everyone can have a bad day
