FA Cup 3rd qualifying round draw

It is a north/south divide in this round so we will only get teams from the south.

Be great to be home to the winner of FC Romania vs H&Y

Or hope Bodmin (lowest ranked team left) beat Bideford and get them at home.

But tbh any home game would be good as we have the ability to beat anyone at our place.

I know the draw is still regionalised but is it split North and South leagues or could we get teams like Brackley or Leamington because they are south of Birmingham?

With the FA in charge, who the hell knows.

It will all depend on which teams have qualified to the next round. There are 40 matches in the third qualifying round so 40 teams will have to be classified as "north" and 40 as "south". If more northern teams have qualified than southern then the border will be more northerly and we could get Brackley or Leamington but if more southern teams have qualified then the border will drop further south.

If you look at the previous round draw, matches 1-40 winners will most likely be in the northern draw with matches 41-80 more likely to be in the southern draw. No guarantee's though and just a very rough way or dividing the teams

Not happy with that draw !

They are a step above and we never beat them !

Crowd will be less than Dulwich as they are going through a bad patch and won't bring that many. Bad patch or not they are still a Conf South side so will be extremely tough. remember Dartford last year? They were not playing great but were just too strong for us over 90 mins.

Great opportunity for us to display our potential Conference South credentials...... Poole are struggling, they have lost lost six of their last seven league matches, drawing the other one (and it's unlikely there will be any let up for them this coming weekend when they host promotion chasing Chelmsford City).

Their 2-0 win at Salisbury in the second qualifying round would be of some concern if it were not for match reports seeming to indicate Salisbury were unlucky not level the match before Poole scored their second late in added time.

It will be a close and difficult match, but I do fancy our chances.

While it's not the best of ties it's not the worst either.

I'm with Curtis on this, we're aiming to be a Conference South side and are currently one of the best teams in the Southern Premier. While Poole are struggling towards the foot of the Conference South,so it's not like we are a million miles away from them in the talent stakes at the moment.

It won't be an easy game but should not hold any fear. Getting another home game is satisfying, too.

Bring it on, can't wait.
