First half I think the effort from the players was certainly there but it was all 100 mile an hour stuff and very little composure. Also think our crosses into the box were lacking the required accuracy.

Second half was a total transformation with some superb football played and unlike the first half the crosses from Dobbo for a few of the goals was top draw.

Excellent second half performance from the team!!

Interesting listening to Bakes' interview about how upset they were with the 1st half performance. Thought a tad harsh. Yes, we were wasteful, over cooked it a bit and sloppy to allow an equaliser, but still very dominant and looked hungry. Shows the high standards they're trying to set and the half time rollicking clearly worked.

Thought that Nathan Webb had another cracking game from midfield, now if he could just score a few goals.

Talking about the players giving up you only have to look at their managers, after goal number 6 they didn't move and 20 minutes after game had finished they were still sitting in the dugout and hadn't moved. They are a young, inexperienced team but you need leadership from above

Marcus do I sense a bromance between you and James, Sean Sonner will be jealous :)

As for me mom was Brad, but there were quite a few to choose from to be honest.

Great second half team work xx

I do miss Sean sonner! For me JD is usually the player most likely to unlock a defence, once he stopped crazy speculative shots and put he ball in more it was easy to see why, 3/4 assists today- and a goal.

Wonderful fun today. Other than the 8 goals, the number 5 was a treat, the keeper (who didn't do much wrong) was still a football league loan keeper who conceded 8 and then there was the fantastic open goal miss by the 16 which is probably the poorest thing I have ever witnessed on a football pitch - and that includes Michael perrineau-Daley!!!

Only concern for me were a number of moments that I watched one of our most important players seemingly not enjoying his football today (those I was stood around know who and what I'm referring to but I won't mention names or specifics on here). Whatever was the issue I hope it's something that will resolve itself as he is vital to our chances this season in mine and the majority of other supporters opinions.

I can sort of understand the reasoning behind it Radders.

Nothing to worry about. Sometimes things are said in the changing room that players (or managers) don't like and as a result not everybody will be happy all of the time.

Our job as managers is to get the best out of our players and whilst we didn't feel we achieved that in the 1st half on Saturday we certainly did in the 2nd.

Time to look forward now to another big game tomorrow. Support was excellent on Saturday and very much appreciated. Would be great to hear that noise again tomorrow!
