v Berkhamsted

As a paying Berkhamsted supporter I have no issue at all in the club charging a bit extra for this game. Bearing in mind the gate receipts are split for this match, the club will only get £4.50 rather than the normal £6. I see you charge £11 so it will be £2 cheaper for you anyway!

The whole town has not stopped talking all week about this game and this match is the town's cup final.

For those that have never been to the ground, a really warm welcome awaits you and loads of extra volunteers have been drafted in to help on the day.

From a Berkhamsted perspective this is the perfect draw for us. We have already won through 2 rounds so I assume that wins the club some money. We now have a home draw against far superior opponents and I understand our new manager Steve Bateman used to manage Slough?

I am a pensioner now but used to play for the old Berkhamsted Town and the day they folded really saddened me and many others. The new club seem to be in the best position they have been and it makes me feel very proud what they have done with the new club.

From what I've read and seen you guys have also turned the corner and heading back in the right direction.

Hardly being ripped off? I'm a paying Berko supporter and have no problem paying an extra couple of quid bearing in mind the gate is split 50/50 so Berkhamsted only get £4.50 rather than £6. Do you ever post anything that's positive? This should break the clubs record attendance today and all you do is whinge.

David I guarantee you I'm NOT the only fan of 650 odd who wouldn't have thought the same as I did, remember the 10 of us who regularly write on this forum don't speak for the vast majority. I stand by my comment 100%, it's the same if we had a plum tie v Woking we could expect to double our crowd and I doubt we'd increase it our admission. I suppose it seems because it's a little club they're allowed to do it!

Glen You could well be wrong about that The pricing structure as per our website does confirm £11 as the entry price for Southern League FA Cup and FA Trophy games but reserves the right to charge for seating at cup games and doesnt reveal the amount of this charge.

Brilliant technique by Lench for the hit on his goal. Thought the keeper should have saved Togwell's though, although hit well it looked like he could have stood up and tipped it over rather than dive backwards. Saying that, what a save he pulled off at the end from Wadkins.

I thought Berko caused us problems early on, their number 10 in particular, and our first goal was against the run of play. With the second coming not long afterwards we pretty much cruised after that. Thought Wells was good. Inns, a mixed game but stuck in there after a tricky start.
