Reading Rebel
Thought I'd give a mention to one of our match day programme advertisers the Potter Arms at Winchmore Hill. Had a Sunday roast their today and I can highly recommend it and of course the 20% discount was an added bonus.

Bournemouth rebel
We've got another special offer for Trust members on the website now, use the link above to take a look.. Why don't the council give something off at the bar and extra staff at the bar
epicrebel
. Why don't the council give something off at the bar and extra staff at the bar The Council don't run it, so if they put another person on, the profit would be less. JUST A GUESS
RebelDelaney
Why can't there be some football pictures be put up on the walls around the bar it looks so drab.
Reading Rebel
Why can't there be some football pictures be put up on the walls around the bar it looks so drab. As AP is primarily a football complex just the promised TV's will do.
GlenSTFC
I think you can forget any tv's or anything else resembling a football clubhouse! Must admit I'm very disappointed with the bar area and yes I know it's not in the clubs' hands but you would hope the council could have jazzed it up a little more and make it more homely rather than the sterile box it is. Bournemouth rebel
The club should have a contact name to sort these things out
GlenSTFC
Not sure it'll make any difference unless the club were prepared to pay for any enhancements.
A Rebel and a Saint
The club does have contacts, however as it is a council run facility, if they say no then there isn't much more that could be done. Likewise with the contractors running the food and bar.
Reading Rebel
Apparently there are TV's on site they've just not been connected. As for the contractors, surely the council want the contractors to do the job they've been employed to do proficiently and thus maximize their percentage of the profits? GlenSTFC
Wonder if these TV's are for our viewing pleasure or there for business presentations? Can't see the council or club paying for a Sky and/or BT subscription.

Can't see the council or club paying for a Sky and/or BT subscription. After spending 8 million surely a couple of TV's showing Sky/BT is a drop in the ocean and they will possibly get their money back with people getting to the ground earlier and leaving later to watch a game and results etc? GlenSTFC
Well that'll be my thinking too... whilst they're at it throw in some comfy sofas, Rebels memorabilia and it may feel more like home.

Depends on the deal the council have got with the bar and food people. If it's a one of payment per game say, the council would get the same cash no matter what the profit is.
