Obviously the appeal board don't know the new rules either.

The point I made previously was that if the foul had not occurred in the first place and Gav James had carried on unimpeded then the 2nd defender coming in from the right would have been nowhere near him. Clearly the tribunal didn't take this into account or do not understand simple vector analysis.
