Just what is going on?

First, the manager walks out and all the players go on strike at Aylesbury and they put out a reserve side against us. Next, there is a mass exodus of players from Hitchin with about 8 first team players flying the coop in the last couple of weeks, leaving us with virtually a reserve side to play against on Saturday. Now, according to the Ryman Fans message board site, the 2 managers at Boreham Wood are sacked and all the non contract players walk out with them.

That's right My Zeal. The players and management of Borehamwoood FC started to panic when the draw was made for the Herts Senior Cup. We were taking this competition seriously, but pooped ourselves when we realised we'd have to play St Albans.

If this trend continues until the end of the season then I can see a Top 8 finish for us.

Perhaps that is the plan. Rather then finish in the top 13, don't finish in the bottom 11 because there are 11 worse teams than us.

 

I've noticed there are rumours of a revival at Riccy. That is worrying.
