Risborough v Buckingham will be a good one. I expect both to be right up there.

I hope Risborough will be up there, should have taken all 3 points against Baldock. Unfortunate to draw to a late penalty.

Buckingham will be very good, now they have a budget they will only get stronger. They have already made some quality signings, Chris Stapleton etc......

I still think it's Winslow or Southalls to lose.

Didn't realise Ath had a budget, last time they did it all went Pete tong very soon after. Think there is a lot is strong sides this year. Paul has a strong group of players at Winslow and the feeling is that it's the best chance for some time, have to hope that players don't get poached by teams with budgets though, although it seems players are loyal to him and a number of others want to be there to play in a good side. I would like to think we will be up there but it's been a long time and have thought a number of times over the years we would be and it hasn't happened.

From no home games in August to three. Two FA Cup games against Edgware and now a very winnable tie against an unsteady Aylesbury United side.

That should fill the coffers a bit :)

Holmer Green 0-3 Berkhamsted

Followed the game on twitter (with pics of the goals as they went in which was quite amusing as they were a bit blurred!) and sounds like another dominant display.

As I've just seen on twitter that is 4 competitive games played this season with 4 wins scoring 23 goals and conceding just 4 and top of the league albeit only 2 games. Since the new club was reformed this is the best team I have seen at the club and in Steve Bateman an absolute class manager and a gentleman off the pitch too.

We seem to be flying under most people's radars and that suits us fine.

I feel for Edgware. Abandoned game after 96 mins with just one minute extra to play with the ball deep in Leverstock's half?

Poor decision from the FA in my opinion. However the ambulance delay was even worse!

The FA should have at least said Replay BUT both sides to share the prize money. Its the least they could have done.

Cracking result for Risboro' last night against Buckingham Ath, Two quick goals put Rangers in control, Athletic reduced the arrears from a free-kick which took a deflection off the wall. To be fair to Buckingham they then probably dominated the rest of the half and majority of the second but resolute defending from Rangers kept them in front. A couple of minutes remaining and there was a case of handbags at dawn and a Athletic player received his marching orders. Buckingham still pressed for the draw but were undone by pushing too many forward and conceded a third. Buckingham will feel hard done by but Risboro' worked hard for the win. Both should be around the top by the end of the season.

Let's hope he can put together another famous vase run. I remember the semi final home leg there was well over 1000 in attendance.
