Billericay suffer the revenge of Ming on Saturday

Dulwich pulled in over a thousand as well, it can be done without splashing the cash.

They did but they consistently get very good gates and have done for a few seasons now.  What Tamplin has done, and credit to him, has been to massively improve the facilities, get the club on the front page of the tabloids and to quadruple the Billericay gate .. all in the space of a few months.  If he wasn't so arrogant about it all then perhaps others might look upon Billericay in a different light but posts such as "we'll smash this league" are extremely disrespectful to the sides he'll be playing.

Good Post.

If Tamplin is in it for the long term then Billericay will do well going forward and some of the investment is going on the right things. Getting the pitch finally fixed will prove to be a great improvement for the club for starters and would have been top of my list of improvements there.

It's just happened before (and we know this all too well unfortunately) that an owner either puts money into the club he doesn't have or gets bored with it and walks away.
