RD don't think it's anything to with Steve's statement.

It might be me and I'm not knocking anyone buy we just can't see to get the 12th man going at home. Also a lot of our main mouths have got married and had families which obviously means they can't make as many games.

Obviously I don't want to go back there but I wish we could create the atmosphere and fun we had when we were losing 6 0 every week xx

Bring back the drum ! lol !

I think there was a type of bugle or something there yesterday but only heard it once or twice.

It was the dreaded Vuvuzela, although it ran out of puff a few times :)

Anyone who thinks any of the comments on this thread have been unfair or OTT should pop over to the Weymouth forum where their team and management are taken to pieces

I wasn't at the game yesterday so not going to comment on that or any of the merit of the comments made so far from others. There is a fairly big difference between us and Weymouth at the moment, we are a club on the up they are more on a down right now. Their league position is going backwards and the crowds are getting smaller and this is frustrating a lot of their fans.

Thought we looked unbalanced in the first half but when the shape changed back to offer us width and guile, we looked far more threatening.

Talking of threatening, if you get that wound up by an opposition goalkeeper celebrating his team scoring that you feel the need to shout abuse at him above the silent majority around you, then maybe non-league football isn't for you.

Giving the 'keeper abuse is non-league football. Old Nigel was great at it.

As someone who is not at afraid to give a keeper stick I totally agree with you Michaelstfc however what was happening yesterday was beyond what I would deem acceptable. As an example as the second goal went in, the keeper had a drink whilst many of our fans, most with children were leaving. Someone shouted at him that his ugly face was scaring the kids away (perfectly humerous and something I would possibly say) but then someone else proceeded to call him a c**t - such language which is almost certain to be a reason these kids don't return as opposed to the keepers face.

In regards of the noise, I can't disagree that it was quiet yesterday. Whilst I don't believe we should only make noise when playing well, I do find it difficult to promote continuous chanting when the play is almost exclusively in our defensive half - as it was for much of the first half. The energy to an extent does have to work both ways from players to fans and visa versa.

A question I have brought up over the last 2 seasons is why does the Club Code of Conduct printed in the programme state the following: "We must not tolerate any harassment or other discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal, towards fellow supporters, players or management of any club involved in matches we play". My question is why are not the match officials included in this caveat? Since I now sit in the stand I did not hear the abuse towards the Kettering goalkeeper but going by what Radders has stated this went beyond acceptable banter/jocularity into foul and abusive language which is something everyone should condemn. As Radders states such behaviour is a disincentive to parents bringing along their kids who are of course the future of our Club. My concern is that everyone, including the match officials ,should have protection from such behaviour.

The idiot who took offence to the Kettering keepers 'antics' does it all the time, he obviously has a real anger issue as the slightest thing can set him off. I'm sure we all know who he is and with CCTV everywhere in the ground shouldn't the stewards be having a word with him?

Dave, come on seriously rightly or wrongly officials will always get it. I've lost count of the amount of times I've offered them my glasses. Their decision can make or break a game so as long as it's not violent or to the extreme i'm sure they expect it .

As for the gob shite from Brighton I belive he's coming Tuesday so if Radders comes a well should be a good night :)

I've said for a long time that compared to some other forums ours is positively angelic.

Go onto the Wealdstone forum after one defeat and they want the manager and every player sacked.

Redwine - what I am saying is when the normal banter/jocularity transcends into the sort of abuse that was hurled at the Kettering goalkeeper then this becomes unacceptable and others agree with this. What I am further saying is whilst the Club Code of Conduct lays down the unacceptability of such behaviour towards supporters, players and management there is in my opinion an error of omission in that match officials are not included in the script. If we accept that the sort of abuse directed at the Kettering goalkeeper yesterday was unacceptable then equally this view must hold for match officials subjected to similar abuse. There is also the question  of the bad example being set to our younger supporters. On the question of stewards there is direction within the Code of Conduct to report if necessary any such abuse to any member of the Club Management or a steward.

And if you read my post again Dave I have said unless it's violent or extreme

I have never used the C word and never will !!!!!

Most fans have a pop at the official's through the game and unless they have been horrendous they also get a clap at the end.

Dont worry though the next time the ref makes a bad decision against us I'll try to remember to say "well done old chap"

Redwine we are agreed but what I am saying is the officials should be included in the Code of Conduct. I am not saying that you have ever been abusive in the sense that we are discussing. Unfortunately there are some who go beyond the bounds of reasonable banter etc. as was the case yesterday. "Football is a passionate game, which is why we all love it, however there is a line and everyone of us must ensure that we do not step over it" - quote from the Code of Conduct. All I am saying is that the match officials should be included within this code. We are not talking about pops at Officials we are talking about the kind of abuse that occurred towards the Kettering goalkeeper yesterday and which for instance Radders wholeheartedly condemned.

On a lighter note,Kettering seemed to have a few overweight players on pitch perhaps we should give our players one of those lovely pasties from tea bar at half time
