Happy New Year everyone. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> A bit late I know but I only returned to work on Monday, first day since before Xmas. Big shock to the system!

 

I didn't make any New Year Resolutions this year. No point they never last beyond the 1st January! <img src="/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />

 

Did anyone out there make a resolution and have you stuck to it so far?

 

Could "uncle" have resolved to only post under one pseudonym?

Possibly Invis resolved not to rant too much (nah)! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Mr Happy, did you resolve to me nice to ALL graduates, despite what there degree is in?

Sorry Lass, I will only be nice to graduates if I think they actually deserve it.

 

Yes, I have made a few resolutions and eight days in I'm doing well. Alcohol consumption has dropped dramatically, I haven't smoked a cigar since New Year's Eve, have eataen ridiculously healthily and have already been to the gym twice. WHAT A PRATT!

I didn't bother with them,i never keep them!!It should be something like do my homework and my extra reading for history..but i know i won't do it!

Alright now, the big man has had to give up the ciggies, and on docs advice had to give up the booze as well. I'm not happy with the last one, been told only for a month. God, how will i cope, it might help the old peptic ulcer, but i'm going cold turkey. Alright at mo, have bit anybodys head of yet but give it time.

I was back at work on 2nd January. It was nice and quiet in the office. I got a nice lot of work done.

 

I can't give up smoking because I have never taken it up. I have cut down on my alcohol intake, but I don't want to give it up entirely. I couldn't really think of anything exotic.
