Strange comment?

 

From what I see on the sidelines is a well run side by unpaid volunteers trying their best to give the community a football team they can enjoy with good facilities.

 

I'm an elderly gentleman who lives close and several of us go to each home game and certainly recently the team and football club have given me much enjoyment on a Saturday afternoon.

So how do you feel with Berko putting up the entry fee to £9 for the Slough game. Me it's total greed.

Judging by his comments on the slough forum, he isn't bothered. Neither are most of the Slough fans.

After expenses taken out, gate receipts are split.

We charged our normal entrance fee £6 and Aylesbury Utd charged £9. It has to be agreed by both clubs on the match arrangement form with the FA. They are split and the away teams travel expenses are then added on. You can charge for floodlights and gate men.

All in favour of clubs making a bit of money from the FA Cup but why put up your normal admission fee so much.
