Guess the attendance - Kettering 12th Aug

True it's holiday season but I'd be disappointed if it was below 600 considering Kettering will bring at least 50.

I'd actually be a bit disappointed if a so called big club like Kettering can only muster up 50!

I know it's still holiday time but it's the first game of the season and supporters should be champing at the bit to get their footie fix.

Still holiday time and with Brentford and Chelsea at home with 3 pm kick offs. Maidenhead United are at home to Hartlepool United with a 12.30 pm kick off. Perhaps a few Monkey Hangers will drop in on their way home to see what a modern football stadium looks like.

Ah our old mate is back from hibernation! Makes sense I suppose as we've had a great unbeaten Pre-season and not much if anything to moan about...

Never saw a single friendly game old mate, so cannot comment. As my uncle says they are only good for getting fit.

Kirky old bean, seems your dear old uncle forgot about confidence building, practicing formations, looking at trialists, seeing what pairings work well together, players getting used to playing with their new team mates, putting training ground moves into practice, trying players in new positions.

What does it do for the viewer when you know the results don't matter?

They are probably leaving now to make kick off.

Kirk, by attending in person, instead of just reading about it on the web site or twitter, it allows me to have a personal and informed view on how the squad with both new and existing players are shaping up for the new season.

I'd like to think it was also rewarding for our managers to see supporters turn up after all the hard work they put in arranging the games.
