GlenSTFC
Wasn't there so must choose my words very carefully ? Impressive result against a side similar in stature and ambitions as us. Hard not to get too carried away with pre-season as it has been excellent all round, it should set us nicely for next Saturday.
Curtis
We played very well and seemed to control the game in the first half.... five substitutions at half-time with a few playing out of position seemed to unsettle us a bit and the second half was s lot more even. We are looking very good though, and I think we will see Turner, Wells, Dunn, Lench and Flood starting next week..... but could be any six in the other positions. David Carpenter
Agree with Curtis. Dominated the first half but understandably went back a bit in the second. According to some of their supporters I was talking to they were a bit short due injuries/holidays but this does not detract from the overall performance. Glad I was driving northwards up the M25 on the way back - southwards looked horrendous! COYR!
GlenSTFC
I would add Nisbet and Dobbo to that group of 6.

Reading Rebel
Sounds like a very good first half but unsurprisingly not as good second half. As Dunny and Lenchy went off at half time I would be interested to know who played in central midfield in the second half? Excellent win and a very good pre-season sets us up nicely for the new season. COYR!!!

Reading Rebel
Fraser and Nisbet All things considered not a bad second half after all then.
David Carpenter
Not much happened in the second half. Tonbrtdge had plenty of the ball but our defence coped quite easily and we were a bit quiet going forward. The game was won in the first half and Dobbo's late goal was a bit of icing on the cake. Great pre-season for the Rebels and I now have quandary - I didn't wear the colours for the pre-season so should I start now given our success? I know pre-season isn't necessarily a guide to the main season but football superstitions etc.
epicrebel
Tonbridge's Manager and Nathan Elder (player) view on the game (after 6-30ish it's on them for new season) http://www.tonbridgeangelsonline.co.uk/videos/tonbridge-angels-vs-slough-town-post-match-intervi-111892.html
