Hopes, dreams or expectations for this season

All pretty much ticked!

 

Well,my brunette never turned up ! ha ha   ................ and Slough didn't win the title but apart from that, think our hopes were well founded and our team excelled themselves and had a season to remember.

 

As our squad isn't going to change much before the start of the season I think we should do our hopes,dreams and expectations for the new season in the Conference South.

I'll start the ball rolling.......

 

Hopes - that we continue to play good passing football in the main and we give supposed better teams a run for their money.Hope we strengthen wisely as the season progresses, if needed. Are never outclassed by anyone.

Hope to finish mid table or higher if possible.

 

Dreams- we win the league !   Yeah right, pigs are flying again.....

 

Expectations - that we're good enough to keep out the relegation places.

Expecting a hard slog this season and think changes of personnel will be needed along the way.

Expecting Bakes and Unders to still be our managers at the end of the season.

Expecting Slough to hold their own against most sides.

 

So you could say I'm optimistic in a pessimistic way ! :D

Hopes.

 

That we continue to play the entertaining, attacking football that we produced last season. With virtually the same squad I think this is a given.

 

That we can avoid a relegation scrap and finish the season somewhere above mid table.

 

 

Dreams.

 

Finish in the play-offs.

 

 

Expectations.

 

A season of highs and lows.

 

At the end of the season to still be in the National League South.

Hopes - to get off to a great start to the season and win at least five of our first ten league matches

 

Dreams - to make the play-offs

 

Expectations - to make it through to the 1st Round Proper of the FA Cup, and for league match attendances to increase to an average of more than 800

I'd like us to get rid of the record we acquired when Rochdale beat us in the FA Cup It passed under most radar that when Rochdale beat us we became the only club in FA Cup history to have lost so many times in that round of the Cup and never ever appeared in the next round So that's my wish/dream a third round FA Cup tie.

to make the playoffs at the first go.though there are a couple of tricky fixtures to overcome.
