Mark Nisbit insists automatic promotion must be the target

I would hope that we can see further progress and achieve 92 points this season, which should ensure we at least finish in the top 3, and continue to see an improvement in attendances and have a league match average in excess of 700.

And I would love to see us get to the First Round proper of the FA Cup.

What are your hopes, dreams, or expectations for this season?

The league will be tougher the season with more clubs in the mix at the top end. So I'd say we'll do well to get top 5 again, not to say we can't get top spot. Of the 4 that have been promoted 3 of them are all capable of top 5 with the exception of Tiverton. Then you have the relegated sides that will be up there although personally not sure about Gosport yet (soon find out!). Then you add in all the existing clubs like Kettering, Weymouth, Hitchin, Merthyr, Kings Lynn to name a few and you can see how competitive it could be.

I think we need a months worth of results both ours and everyone else's before taking a shot at that prediction. We can all see the quality thats been introduced to the squad Well done Neil/Jon although I can see a difficulty with giving players who could step into any other side in the league sufficient game time to retain them.Sone of our fancied rivals have lost many key players from last time Are their replacements as good/better? Only time will tell. Who will be this seasons dark horse(s) Theres always one. I will give my prediction re our likely success mid Sept.

We might have an unusual situation with a few teams copying what Burnham did a few years ago. Invest early on and get enough points to be safe then withdraw any money they can to save it up for next season. Which could end up with a tough first half of the season and comparatively wavy second half.

Hopes - that Slough can win the title and that we are not disgraced in any of our cup matches.

Dreams- that Slough play dazzling football and win the title by a big margin. Also that a buxom leggy gorgeous brunette, with a love of cooking and cleaning and bedroom antics, arrives in my life ! :D

Expectations- I'm sure I can see those pigs on the horizon now ! ha ha ha !

From what I have seen I have no doubt that we can win the league

What will really be key is how well we can play on boggy pitches away from home 2nd half of the season. I also think Hereford will strengthen as the season goes on and have the buying power to do so and so I think getting a lead on them points wise will be crucial

I hope that there are no wild overreaction if there is a run of results one way or the other. I expect it will be impossible to please all of the people all of the time. I dream of an atmosphere like that generated in the shed second half of the Leamington play off game.
