RebelDelaney
Sorry I know it has been mentioned before some where in the ether. Would like it stated again as I am a car park ticket holder at Arbour Park will I still be able to park there for this game thanks.
Sir Rebel1965
Parking Permits are not valid for this game as far as I can see, so what are the arrangements?
Matt
The arrangements will be announced soon (either tonight or tomorrow) but permits won't be valid for this game, as previously communicated. There will be parking at St Joseph's on a first come, first served basis and overflow parking at the Crematorium.
Reading Rebel
It would be useful if we had parking at the Lynch Hill Academy for this game. Perhaps it will be in the forthcoming communication.

Reading Rebel
Just to clarify that alcohol will only be served up to 15 minutes before KO and then 15 minutes after the final whistle til 6pm?
GarySTFC
That's certainly the way I read it Ed and consistent with the FA matches we had last year.
Reading Rebel
It does seem that every time we are due to get a large attendance FA rules are put in place. Not sure why when it seems an ideal opportunity for the Council to cash in.

David Carpenter
I would think because of the opposition/expected attendance that FA rules take precedence. Not sure about that but makes sense sense to me.
staines_rebel_Jr
This is usually a decision made by the two clubs and the police when big crowds are expected. A good decision in my opinion. And anyway why do you care how much money the Council make/lose ???

Matt
There are stricter FA Rules when playing a Football League or Premier League club, even in a non-competitive game. Amongst other things you are not allowed to watch the game whilst drinking alcohol, hence the bar closing before kick-off and remaining closed during the game. David Carpenter
Matt (and the Club) are right. See: CROWD MANAGEMENT MEASURES FA GOOD PRACTICE GUIDE FOR FOOTBALL CLUBS PARA 57. This requires in this instance for the stated restrictions to be in place. Slough Town FC have to comply and it is therefore not in the orbit of responsibility of the Council.
