Went to Walton last night and agreed with everyone regarding the terrible performance. Plenty of effort but no game plan, no confidence, not playing together as a team. No organiser like Alan Dowsen who kept talking to his defence and held them together superbley the whole match.

Steve Daly made one mistake the whole match but there was no one to cover for him, I think if he was playing for Walton last night someone would have been on hand to cover as they played as a unit.

I think Slough need a Geoff Chapple immediately to oversee the inexperience of Denton & Gilkes in a short term fix to get into the top six.

I am sure even with the present squad they should be good enough for the top six if organised differently and create a no lose at any cost team spirit.

I think they may find themselves in a similar position to Maidenhead where they have a good side currently which is not then supported by the town and the fan base stays quite low.

 

Good luck to them I say. We've had our day and we need to concentrate on working on getting those days back as the potential is certainly there as showed from the passion showed by the fans on Tuesday night.
