Cheshunt FC v The Town

Recommended Posts

Audrey..Your boys took a HELL of a beating.

Fair dues , We got a spanking but that's the price we pay for signing mostly level 5 players during the summer . Not too happy with the man in the blue tee shirt and short greying hair. But I guess just the usual spiel from you lot , Some people are just born thick I guess.

The man near the tea bar that said .....and I quote ..." ÀLL THIS WILL BE BLEEDING HOUSES SOON". If you are on here reading this you plank you should be ashamed of yourself . It beggars belief that some people say stuff like that . How little do you know.!!!

Don't really get your point..You cheshunt supporters seem excited that it will 'all be houses' soon.Because you will get a new ground at the back of the development. Will the new ground be exactly where the current pitch is??

The pitch will be where it is and the club house will be the main stand, its not the new homes we are excited about just the fact that after years of neglect we will have a ground to be proud of.

That's what we thought with Southbury Road..Computer designs of the new stadium.Scale models of the new stadium..In the end it was just loads of housing and loads of broken promises.Be careful what you wish for. That's all i'm saying.

I know that mate he was just pissed and stupid and lucky not to get a right hander, not having a pop at the rest of you.

Ta, go in peace.

Does the fact that he didn't get ' a right hander ' suggest that this is all keyboard warrior bullshit ?

I think Cheshunts owner is a different kettle of fish to Lazapoo. He has a site, loads of parking and an off field business plan. The only risk is if the General income potential does not materialise and he sells up after reaping the development profits.

Nonetheless exciting times for the few in EN8

Very true nothing is guaranteed but the best thing to happen to the club for years, at least potential wise.

Its building plot is going to make someone a hell of a lot of money.Lets hope the football club reap the benefit from all that money that is going to be made.A new ground built first (before the housing goes up) and a binding agreement the land the stadium is on is secured for the football club use only for the long term future. Then it may benefit the club and fans long term.

According to the Mercury, Broxbourne Council rejected the housing and stadium proposal.  We'll see if there's going to be an appeal.

Just read this, i can't see an appeal being successful to be honest so maybe there is a plan B....time will tell.
